Overview

A Level Media Studies is a versatile and highly rewarding subject that explores how the media industry works. This course will enable you to deepen your understanding of the nature of both past and contemporary global media.

Entry requirements

General entry criteria apply plus a GCSE English Language Grade 5 and a Grade 5 in a traditional written subject, for example GCSE History or Religious Studies.

Your next steps...

Journalist routes, for example sports journalists, freelance writer, marketing, TV and Radio Production, Public Relations are a few of the jobs that can follow on from studying Media. Past students have worked at the BBC, Media City and the O2 arena. Ravensbourne University has also been a popular university route for our learners.
