Overview

Study language, literature and performance at a university whose graduates go on to write and perform around the world. We've pioneered drama for more than 50 years, and many of our graduates have gone on to notable careers in theatre, TV and film. And with Philip Larkin, Winifred Holtby and Andrew Marvell among the figures who've left their mark on the city, you wont have far to look for literary inspiration. Develop your talents as a performer, critic, writer, technician or designer. You'll enjoy exclusive access to the Gulbenkian Centre, a Grade II-listed working theatre. We also enjoy strong relationships with arts organisations including Hull Truck Theatre and Opera North. Find out more: https://www.hull.ac.uk/study/ug/drama-english.aspx
