Overview
Taught by industry experienced tutors, you will develop your beauty therapy and massage
techniques to an advanced level. Equivalent to three A Levels, you will learn a range of new treatments, primarily in massage, preparing you to work in a beauty salon or spa. If you're interested in managing your own business in the future, you will also learn how to set-up and market your own beauty salon.

Promotion and sales of products and services
Contributing to the effective running of a business
Client care and consultation skills
Knowledge and skills in anatomy and physiology for the face and body systems

50% Assessment - Coursework
30% Assessment - Exam
20% Assessment - Synoptic EXAM

Entry requirements
Ideally at least 5 GCSEs at grade 9-5 or A*-C including English and Maths or a Level 2 qualification, but this is subject to discussion at your interview. If you haven't already achieved a GCSE grade 5 or grade C in English or Maths, then you will study either GCSE or Functional Skills English or Maths alongside your other qualifications.
